The cozy cottages at Alumbung are like charming huts straight out of a fairytale. With their thatched straw roofs and wooden furnishings, it feels like stepping into a storybook.
Tap water slightly salty.

The value we got for our money at this lovely hotel was incredible. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, making our stay very enjoyable. The location was perfect, with the famous beach just a short 5-10 minute drive away. The staff treated us with kindness and the level of service was outstanding.
Food for breakfast could be improved with more variety.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional. The hotel facilities were well-kept, and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful tropical garden. The staff was helpful in getting us transportation and recommending tours around this city. Lastly, the hotel's location right on the beach was a huge plus for us.
Nothing that we didn't like.

This hidden gem exceeded all our expectations with its authentic and non-commercialized vibe. The cottages were impeccably clean and the attention to detail was impressive. The staff always had a smile on their face and went above and beyond to assist us, even helping with ATM issues. The beautiful tropical garden provided a serene atmosphere, and the free Wi-Fi in the common area was a bonus. The location, although a bit inconvenient without a motorbike, was a peaceful getaway from the bustling tourist areas. The airport transfer was punctual and hassle-free. Alumbung Cottages provided us with a perfect little oasis for our stay. Good luck and keep up the great work!

Spent xmas at this resort and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and nearby shops. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The WiFi connection was not very strong and sometimes difficult to access. The pool area was also quite small and could be crowded at times.

We had an amazing stay in a charming and rustic accommodation surrounded by nature in a quiet and isolated location close to a beautiful beach. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the huts were very comfortable and spacious, with a large mini-bar/fridge, mosquito nets, and electric fans. the service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. the breakfast was delicious, with a homemade mango jam that we highly recommend. We also appreciated the small touches, such as the batik-style robes.
While the location was beautiful, the beach nearby was not suitable for swimming due to heavy algae growth.

Great vibes & beautiful cottages. Staff was really attentive and helpful. They offered a nice breakfast, and everyone was friendly. Good for couples or groups of friends wanting to relax and enjoy some quiet time. the location was not too far from attractions in the area and close to a local beach. Plus, the price was reasonable and there was free parking.
Room was pretty small for the price. There were some plumbing issues, and the Wi-Fi was slow.

During our recent trip to Panglao, we had the pleasure of staying at a charming retreat just a short distance away from Alona Beach. The native villas at this lovely accommodation were beautifully constructed using local materials, and provided spacious and comfortable living spaces. We especially enjoyed the two terraces, where we could relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings.
